My new tennis shoes. LOVE my tennis shoes. The rest of my family chooses to be barefoot whenever humanly possible, but I live in my shoes. Literally. I just have this thing about stepping on crunchies in the kitchen. And I'm a chronic toe stubber. So these shoes save us from a lot of naughty words being tossed about!

Tonight we celebrated Devin's 1/2 birthday. We do that. I'm not sure why. But it made me realize I've only got 6 more months till this little stink will be driving!!!

The view of the sunset from my house tonight. They say pollution makes for beautiful sunsets. Go figure. And if that's the case, I'm not exactly sure how to fit this into the "grateful for" category.

This makes me happy. Ridiculously, absurdly happy. I have found I will buy nearly anything at 90% off. Don't need it? Don't even like it? That's beside the point. It's 90% OFF! How can you pass that up?

Today I cleaned out the fridge. I despise this chore. Maybe it's because I am a fridge slob. Or maybe it's because I hate to see how wasteful we really are. Or maybe it's because I really don't care to see green stuff where green stuff shouldn't be. I should tackle the freezer, too. Maybe next year.

Today we went to my sweet little niece, Nicole's, baptism.

Jordan had some boys and girls over during Christmas break. They made pizzas and hung out for like 6 hours! Kind of gave me warm fuzzies that they wanted to hang here that long. We must not be so dorky, after all!
